Island Reef Job Application

For those of you who haven’t heard, there’s a job position available in my home country, Australia, being called “The Best Job In The World“. The job is to be a caretaker of Hamiliton Island, one of the many islands in the Great Barrier Reef, a job that requires your daily schedule to include snorkeling to find marine life, strolling along the beach and blogging about their experience with pictures and video, plus a few other little things.

The job is a 6 month position, although you’ll never want to leave, and when the 6 months is done you’ll take home a hefty $150,000 AUD paycheck. It really is the best job in the world.

Not only is the job relaxing and the pay unbelievable, the job also includes free flights and luxurious beachfront accommodation. This job sounds more like being paid to holiday than work, and I think I might even be good at it as well, seeing as I already blog – pity about my age though, it’s the one thing stopping me.
