A Review Of The Blog Comment Blueprint

By Simon On November 19, 2008 17 Comments

My good friend Danny Cooper from LinkersBlog released his first product, the Blog Comment Blueprint, a few days ago, and since he has done quite a bit for me I decided to review it for him (and I really wanted to read it) :) .

A Brief Intro

Danny Cooper runs a blog called LinkersBlog where he talks about link building and does case studies. If you want to know more about him then I suggest you read his About page. Anyway, his blog shot to popularity one day out of the blue, and people were amazed at the publicity, traffic, comments and connections he was achieving. The reason behind this “rise to fame” was achieved through the complex art of good blog commenting, so obviously, the guy knows what he is talking about when it comes to blogging, link building and especially blog commentating.

What’s In The Ebook?

The Blog Comment Blueprint is split into 7 different chapters, each detailing about how the power of blog commenting can be harnessed for different reasons and effects.

  • Facts About Bloggers

    Blog Comment Blueprint

    Blog Comment Blueprint

  • How To Find Blogs To Comment On
  • How To Make Money From Blog Commentating
  • How To Build Links Using Blog Comments
  • Blog Commentating For Traffic And RSS Subscribers
  • How To Comment Faster
  • How Blog Commentating Increases Your Technorati Authority

It shows that you can make money by blog commenting even without owning any website at all, and the techniques to do so are so simple. I already knew of the technique and had used it to success before reading the e-book, so I can safely say that the technique does work.

Who Should Buy The Blog Comment Blueprint

After reading the Blog Comment Blueprint a few times I have decided that it is definitely aimed at the newbies in blog commenting, blogging, or simply in making money online. It’s a great little resource for anyone who wants to become a better blogger or earn a bit more income on the side.

So if you’re a bit of a newbie to blogging, I highly recommend buying the Blog Comment Blueprint now.

IronBlogger’s Holding a Huge Contest – $1,000 Of Prizes

By Simon On October 5, 2008 18 Comments

I headed over to IronBlogger today to catch up on some articles I have recently missed reading, and saw the first post was titled “IronBlogger’s First Contest Ever $1000+ Prizes“. I looked at the prizes, and am sure I want to win some (I haven’t won a contest in years). There are prizes such as licences of the Revolution theme and the SuperPress theme, as well as heaps of banner advertising, reviews, and 1 on 1 consultations with big bloggers like Jim from TheNetFool, Matt from MoneyBites and Jason from TheUniversityKid. There are also a few other small things such as Ebooks and videos to be won as well.

I personally am aiming to win a theme for this blog or consultation time with some of the big bloggers, but the great thing about this contest is that I have a good shot of winning. There is about 40 different prizes to be won and each person can only win one prize, so I think that if I have as many entries as I can I should be able to win something.

What You Have To Do To Win

There are 6 ways that you can enter, and you can choose to do all (135 points) or one (as small as 5 points).

  • Blog about the contest (like what I’m doing. I told you, I want to win something). The post must link back to the competition and be a minimum or 300 words. (50 points)
  • Put his banner up on your website for a minimum of 2 weeks. This is a link to the banner. (30 points)
  • Subscribe to his RSS feed by emailĀ  – This can be found on his post. (30 points)
  • Stumble or Digg the post I have given you a link to. (Not sure whether this is 15 points each or 15 points for both)
  • Add him on Twitter (5 points) – You can add me on Twitter if you want.
  • Drop him a comment on his blog, but don’t spam. (5 points)

As I said, I want to win, so I am going to be doing all of the above for maximum points. :)

Review Of DoublePlus.com

By Simon On October 4, 2008 3 Comments

This review of DoublePlus is the review won by last months top commentator on this blog.

DoublePlus.com is an ecommerce development and marketing blog focusing on using the internet for marketing and business. It covers topics such as using a blog to gain visitors to an ecommerce site through search engines and how to build websites, mainly ecommerce development.

It also provides great detail and support on product merchandising, taking you step by step through creating your own great product description.

Running on an attractive and nicely modified version of Brian Gardner’s Revolution Theme, the blog holds and impressive and valid PageRank 5. The colours are simple and relaxing to fit in with the mood of the blog, and the logo is a simplistic yet effective one, bearing two plus-signs, one overlapping the other, represent the domain and blog name, DoublePlus.

The blog also focuses on helping those using Miva Modules which is an addon for Miva Merchant, an ecommerce shopping cart. It can also help you as it has articles focusing on Search Engine Optimization, such as Building Authority And Inbound Links With Squidoo and URL Rewriting. It also uses the top commentators widget, so I’ll have to add this one to my list.

Remember, the top 2 commentators this month win a free 125 x 125 banner each for a month.

BloggerLee Review

By Simon On September 14, 2008 5 Comments

This review is being given to Luna over at BloggerLee after winning it in the contest I held earlier in the month. It’s not paid or influenced in any way.

Before this competition, I had stumbled across BloggerLee. I expected it to be another blogging tips blog, but instead I found a great personal blog with funny content and images, news and a bit of content on how to make money online, such as this article on site flipping.

Luna is a university student, and this is a trend I have noticed emerge on the internet recently (I mean, I’m in highschool). She currently now owns two blogs, which I know can get pretty hectic if you don’t manage your time well, so I congratulate her on that. The second blog is WeblogEngineering.

Luna’s design is simple and refreshing, and really gives it that personal touch which I feel we all need. Go over and check out her blog at bloggerlee.com.
