Some Enjoyable Posts In The Blogosphere 3-12-2008

By Simon On December 3, 2008 15 Comments

Good news… I’m on school holidays, which means that I can spend more time writing for the blog (it is a good thing, isn’t it?). Anyway, I haven’t given much link love in quite a while to deserving posts, so I figured I should give them a shout.

Over the past few weeks some posts and launches have really amazed me, none more than Jason’s smooth launch of his new joint blog, Make Money Dynamo. It absolutely amazed me when I saw how many subscribers he attracted in such a short space of time, and then he revealed to readers of his blog how he managed to gain 1,273 subscribers in three days. This post is well worth a read, and so is the free download e-book on Make Money Dynamo.

Other great posts over the past few weeks:

Finally, I’d also like to thank Adam from Creadiv for his WPTone WordPress theme. In creating niche blogs I find it hard to find a well optimized adsense theme, and so this theme was like a gift from the Gods to me. Currently I’m using it on my newest mini blog, About Coral Reefs – Facts And Information.

I’m also probably going to be holding a big contest soon, so stick around or subscribe so that you find out when it starts.

Sunday Summary: This Week’s Wrap-Up

By Simon On September 28, 2008 12 Comments

Today marks another important time in the life of this blog – I’m starting “Sunday Summary: This Week’s Wrap-Up” as my weekly link roundup to be done each week from now on, to share some of the good stuff with the world and give some well deserved link love.

  • StandOutBlogger made a great post telling us 5 Things He Hates About Bloggers and the way they act, thinking that success and popularity should be theirs straight away.
  • LinkersBlog put together a Link Building Glossary of all terms you will ever come across when link building and their definitions. I’ll always be refering back to this.
  • Jay from SuiteJ gave us 5 reasons Why Website Flipping Is Too Easy. And I agree with him – the amount of resources and information free to everyone make it quite difficult not to have an easy time flipping sites.
  • Ryan from SmarterWealth tells us What To Do When We Hit “The Wall”.I was actually going to write a post about this next week, but when I saw that Ryan explained it all so well, I don’t feel the need to anymore.

This week seemed pretty eventful to me in terms of great articles. Of course, breaking news in the blogging world was that Entrecard is for sale. I was one of the first to know about it but didn’t blog about it simply because everyone else was. Look’s like it’s not for sale anymore.
