Australian Open Tennis 2009 – Melbourne

The Australian Open Tennis Grand Slam of 2009 began today, hosted at Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Australia.

The Australian Open is one of four tennis grand slams (major tournaments) held throughout each year, with the other three being Wimbledon, the US Open, and the French Open.

The Australian Open Tennis Tournament this year runs from today, Monday, 19th January, until Sunday the 1st February, on which date the Men’s singles final winner will be revealed in what is usually a stunning display of skill and fitness.
