Australian Open 2009 Women’s Final Winner – Serena Williams
The Australian Open 2009 concludes its run tomorrow and all that remains is the men’s final match between world number 1 Rafael Nadal and the equally good Roger Federer, who is ranked 2 in the world.
However, earlier today the women’s final was played out, a match between Serena Williams and Dinara Safina.
Going into the match, Serena Williams was the favourite to win, and I also believed she had the edge on Dinara Safina.
Serena played the match of her life, while Dinara Safina looked a little bit nervous, and so Serena Williams ended up becoming the champion of the women’s draw of the Australian Open 2009.
She won in straight sets, a score of 6-0, 6-3, picking up a nice paycheck along the way. Congratulations on the win Serena.
Australian Open 2009 Men’s Final – Nadal vs Federer
The Australian Open of 2009 held at Melbourne Park is drawing to an end and with it comes the highest quality of tennis in the finals. Tomorrow, the last day of the Australian Open 2009, will hold the men’s singles final match, with world number 1, Rafael Nadal, taking on world number 2 Roger Federer.
If yesterday’s semi-final match between Rafael Nadal and Fernando Verdasco is anything to judge quality by, then we should be set for an extremely entertaining and awe filled night of tennis. If you don’t remember, yesterday’s match between the two Spanish players was one of the best and longest matches I have ever seen.
By the standards at which Nadal is playing, I feel that he will be able to conquer Roger Federer, but he may not have fully recovered before the final from his previous 5 set match against Verdasco.
The Australian Open Final should be an amazing game and I can’t wait to see it tomorrow.

Portable Tennis Ball Machines – Portable Tennis Ball Machine
Portable tennis ball machines come in extremely helpful when you wish to play tennis and practice but there is no-one to practice against. Portable tennis ball machines shoot out balls to you at many different speeds, angles and flights. When buying a portable tennis ball machine, a few factors should be taken into consideration first, such as power, ball capacity and flight.
There are many well respected and reputable tennis companies that produce and sell quality ball machines, such as Wilson, Prince, and Lobster.
When buying a portable tennis ball machine, one of the first factors to take into consideration is the level of power the tennis ball machine will have, which is solely dependent on your skill level and level of progress. Most portable tennis ball machines will have a variety of power levels, however, some will be more accustomed to your needs that others.
You will also need to consider battery life and battery consumption, and look for portable ball machines that have the option of being plugged in to a power source as well.
Capacity is also another important factor to consider when buying a portable tennis ball machine. Different machines have different ball holding capacities, and so if you wish for a longer, less interrupted session you will need to choose a portable tennis ball machine that has a high ball capacity.
Another important feature in portable tennis ball machines is oscillation. Oscillation allows the portable tennis ball machine to shoot the ball at different angles, allowing your practice session to resemble game practice instead of shot practice, which can make a dramatic improvement on your game.
Overall, when buying portable tennis ball machines, you will need to map out your game beforehand, such as your age, skill level and power, so that you can choose a ball machine that suits your game and will benefit you the most.
