FIFA World Cup 2010 Ball

By Simon On April 11, 2009 No Comments

Well I don’t know about you but I personally just can’t wait for the launch of the FIFA World Cup 2010, and especially seeing the new World Cup Ball. Although I’m not aware of the new design yet, I have a feeling that it will be extremely decorative, and there’s no doubt that all of the teams will be playing with a very stylish ball.

Like in previous years, it will be Adidas, a sponsor of the FIFA World Cup, who will be creating the ball which I am happy about. I really like the quality of all of their balls, and am pleased with the Teamgeist that I purchased a few years ago. I’ll be looking to upgrade my current soccer ball to the new World Cup ball as soon as it becomes available to purchase.

I personally think that the official ball of the 2010 FIFA World Cup will be a bit more decorative then the Teamgeist, which is fairly simple yet elegant.

The official FIFA World Cup 2010 soccer ball is set to be released in December, which I am now counting down until.

FIFA World Cup 2010 Tickets

By Simon On April 11, 2009 1 Comment

The FIFA World Cup 2010 is rapidly approaching, and so now is the time that you need to start buying your tickets if you want to have a good chance at getting some. With only just over a year before the first game of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, over 1.6 million tickets have been requested.

Already the first phase of World Cup Tickets has been released, and with approximately only 3,000,000 tickets in total, tickets are running out. The second sales phase for World Cup 2010 tickets opens on the 4th May through FIFA, which can be found at the following link: http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/organisation/ticketing/index.html.

It is without a doubt the best option to buy the tickets through FIFA now and not from some dodgy person later on, simply because by purchasing around now your tickets won’t be in as much danger and prices will also be a lot lower.

Use this link to go to the FIFA site and access information about the 2010 World Cup ticketing.

India New Zealand Series 2009

By Simon On February 27, 2009 No Comments

The Indian Cricket Team’s tour of New Zealand kicked off two night ago, on Wednesday 25th February 2009 with the 1st Twenty20 International. New Zealand managed to get on top of India, beating them with seven wickets in hand.

Tonight the second Twenty20 International between India and New Zealand is being played in Wellington, and, with me being part Kiwi, I’m hoping that New Zealand can once again win.

Hopefully I can find somewhere that I can watch the game, as it should be a good one.

The rest of the series involves a 5 game ODI series and a 3 Test series. If you are looking for a schedule and frequently updating results, head over to the India Tour Of New Zealand page on CricInfo.

Thanks to CricInfo for the information.
